SINGING OR INSTRUMENTS

For children in Year 1 +

Learning to sing or play the same instrument in a small group setting can be a fun and exciting way for children in Year 1 + to explore the world of music. At Music Tree, our course is designed to help children with or without experience in ukulele, guitar, piano, violin, drums, flute, and singing to develop their skills in a supportive and enjoyable environment.

One of the great benefits of playing in a group is the opportunity to make music with others. Playing in an ensemble can be a playful and fun way for children to learn new skills while building confidence and making friends. By playing together, children can learn to listen to each other and work together towards a common goal. They can also enjoy the sense of accomplishment that comes from playing music together as a team.

In addition to the social benefits of playing in an ensemble, group learning can also help to develop important musical skills. Children can learn to read music, improve their timing and rhythm, and develop intonation by tuning their instruments to each other and matching the sound of the group. These skills are essential for becoming a well-rounded musician and can be honed through group practice and performance.

Small groups for personalised attention

By learning in a small group setting, children can receive personalised attention while also benefiting from the energy and enthusiasm of their peers. At Music Tree, we are committed to providing the highest quality music education to children of all ages and skill levels.

Preparing the recital

The classes will be tailored to the level of the students and will include engaging games and fun musical activities to help them become comfortable with their chosen instrument. The lessons will start with basic coordination and movements to learn the instrument and progress to exercises for body awareness, ending with playing tunes and songs together. This approach helps students develop their skills in a playful and enjoyable way, building a strong foundation for their musical journey.

The importance of a dedicated music school setting

One important aspect of our program is the setting. Having classes at a dedicated music school rather than at home provides a motivating and immersive environment. The vibrant atmosphere, equipped with all necessary instruments and resources, inspires children to engage fully in their musical journey. The shared space fosters a sense of community and encourages students to thrive together.

At Music Tree, we believe that learning music should be fun, engaging, and inspiring. Our experienced teachers are passionate about helping children discover the joy of playing their instruments in a supportive and nurturing environment.
